An essay writing service guarantee is only worth the clause standing behind it, so every promise below names the clause it comes from in the Terms and Conditions you accept at checkout. Where marketing wording and the Terms disagree, the Terms win. If a guarantee is not on this page, we do not make it.
You set the deadline, and the clock starts at payment
You set the deadline yourself in the order form, anywhere from 3 hours to two months. Short work such as an essay runs from 3 hours to 10 days; long work such as a dissertation or thesis extends to 20 days, 30 days and two months.
The deadline you pick also caps how many pages you can order. A 24-hour essay caps out well below the same essay at three days, and the form enforces that limit rather than leaving it to goodwill. It is easier to refuse an order than to hand you something rushed at 4 a.m.
One practical detail matters more than any other: work begins once your payment clears (clause 3.1), so that is when the countdown starts, not when you submit the form. If something does slip and a deadline is at risk, support tells you in writing and you decide what happens next — the dispute policy covers the case where you and we cannot agree.
Every paper is written from scratch and checked before delivery
Your writer builds the paper from your instructions, your sources and your subject, at the length you ordered. A page is 275 words double-spaced or 550 single-spaced, so the page count on your order matches the word count your department is expecting. Citations are formatted in the style you select: APA, MLA, Turabian, Chicago, Harvard, Oxford, Vancouver or CSE.
Before a paper is released to you it is checked for originality. If you want the plagiarism report as a document, you can add it to the order for an additional fee (clause 8.1). We will not tell you a paper is guaranteed to score a certain way in a named detection system, because nobody controls what those systems return.
Free revisions within 14 days, 30 days on long work
| What you ordered | Free revision window |
|---|---|
| Essays, research papers, term papers, coursework, case studies, lab reports, presentations | 14 days from completion |
| Dissertation, thesis, research proposal, thesis proposal, dissertation chapters | 30 days from completion |
This is clause 7.1, and it is the only revision promise we make. A window with a date on it is worth more than a vaguer phrase, because you can hold us to a date.
Inside the window, a revision is measured against the instructions on the original order. Point at the requirement that was missed and the writer fixes it at no charge (clause 7.3). Send a new topic, a new argument or a source list that did not exist when you ordered and that is editing, which is a separate order. The QA department can decline requests that rewrite the brief (clause 7.2), and a revision requested after the original deadline does not count as late delivery: the deadline covers the first version.
Money back: what you get and when
Cancel at any point before a writer has been assigned and the refund is full (clause 9.4). Once someone is working, the Terms set out how it goes:
- Cancel after work has begun and a partial refund can be offered, depending on how much has been completed (clause 9.4).
- A quality claim is reviewed by the QA department against the instructions on the order; be specific about the instruction that was ignored or the section that does not hold up, because QA has to evidence its decision to the writer as well as to you (clause 9.5).
- If a full refund is issued, rights to the delivered paper revert to the company and the refunded paper is no longer yours to use (clause 9.6).
Store credit accepted as compensation is not convertible back to cash and expires one year after it is issued, so spend it on your next order (clause 9.7). Every refund or cancellation request has to be in writing, through the messaging system in your account or to [email protected] (clause 9.3). The dispute policy sets out the escalation route if we cannot agree.
Every paper type, and a price you see before you pay
There are 49 paper types on the order form across 110 subjects, from a single essay to a dissertation with its chapters ordered separately. Three quality tiers - Standard, Premium and Platinum - decide which pool of writers your order goes to, and each adds its own per-page surcharge.
Pricing is quoted live by the order system before you confirm, and it lives on one page rather than being scattered across marketing copy where it goes stale. Five things move it: paper type, page count, deadline, academic level and quality tier. High School, College, Undergraduate, Master and PhD each carry their own per-page rate, and the quality tier adds its surcharge on top. Nothing is added after you confirm.
Your data and your paper
We ask for a name, contact details and payment information. That is what running an order requires, and it is what we keep. Those details are not sold to third parties, and writers work from the assignment rather than from your contact information. What is collected and for how long is written down in the Privacy Policy.
Your finished paper goes to you and stops there. It is not resold to another customer, not published as a sample, not held in a database for reuse and not recycled by the writer into someone else’s order. Support runs around the clock in writing — at [email protected] and through the messaging system in your account, where the whole history of an order stays visible to both sides.
What we do not guarantee
We do not guarantee a grade, an admission or a pass. Grading depends on a rubric and a reader we have no access to, and a promise about either would be worthless. We also do not promise that a paper will behave a particular way in any plagiarism detector.
What we deliver is model and reference work, written to your brief. What you may then do with it is set by your own institution, and our position on that is stated in full on academic integrity rather than hinted at here. Ratings left by customers on completed orders sit on reviews, unedited.
Frequently asked questions
Does EssaysUniverse have a money-back guarantee?
Yes, and it works on a schedule rather than a slogan. Cancel before a writer is assigned and the refund is full (clause 9.4 of the Terms); after work has begun, a partial refund can be offered depending on how much has been completed. Quality claims go to the Quality Assurance department with the evidence behind them, and every refund request has to be made in writing.
How many free revisions do I get?
There is no fixed number, but there is a fixed window - 14 days from the order's completion, or 30 days for a dissertation, thesis, research proposal, thesis proposal or dissertation chapter. Each request is checked against the instructions you gave when you ordered. The QA department can limit or decline requests that change those instructions, because that is new work rather than a correction.
Will my paper be checked for plagiarism?
Every paper is written from scratch to your instructions and checked before it is released to you. If you want a plagiarism report as a document, you can add it to the order for an additional fee (clause 8.1). We do not promise a particular score in any named detection system.
Can you guarantee the grade I will get?
No. Grading is your professor's judgment against a rubric we never see, so a promise about the letter you end up with would be worth nothing. What we do guarantee is that the paper follows your instructions, uses the sources and citation style you asked for, and is written from scratch for you alone. If it fails that test, it is a revision or a quality claim.
Is my order confidential?
We ask for your name, contact details and payment information, and nothing else is required to run the order. Those details are not sold to third parties, and writers see the assignment rather than your contact information. Your finished paper is not resold, published, added to a sample database or reused by the writer.
